Escape.

"Huuh....huuhh....pant....pant"
sounds of heavy breathing could be heard in the rainy night.
Rain was pouring down from the sky, making the streets muddy.
Mud splashed into two directions as group of people ran through the night. "My lady, we mustn't stop! Your life takes the priority!" said figure of a man in darkness.
Group seemed to be consisting of 3 youngsters, 1 child and 2 adaults. Streets were getting more narrow and narrow.
Suddenly one young girl tripped and felt into a mud with splash. Older man pulled her back up again.
"UUaaaaaa.....I wanna go hoooome...." cried about 7 years old boy. One older girl.....about 19 years old grabbed the small boy and started carring him on her back as they were running. Both adaults seemed to get weaker, since they were old men. Finally they stopped and said to the youngsters: "Keep running we can handle ourselves!"
"NO!" yelled about 14 years old boy. "We can't leave you here to die like that" said other girl, about 12 years old.
Old man said: "If you kids will die....there is no future to our household and the secret of the lineage will be lost forever!"
"But...." started the girl.


"But what" came a voice from the darkness. "They....they found us....." said other old man while trembling in fear.
A group of shinigami appeared in the rain.
They revealed their swords and started coming closer.
One of the old man jumped up, grabbed a sword and yelled: "ESCAPE YOU KIDS!"
The 14 year old boy also took out a sword and said: "Sisters....go!"

The first shinigami raised his blade and charged towards the old man.

"KYAAAAAAA" yelled the girls in despair.

Hiroshi was tired from a long day he had spent in the Gotei Kousetsu and decided to take a walk around Rukongai when he heard a boy crying, he went to have a closer look. By the time he got into the spot where the noise came. When he arrived he saw an old man talking to some children. he decided it's not wise to reveal his identity yet so he left his clothes and weapon on a nearby roof and turned into a cat. He went closer and listened to the old man.
"Lineage? I know all the important royalties around but I've never heard of those kids, neither do I know that geezer. Hmh, fascinating!" he tought. Shortly after he had ended the discussion he was having with himself he noticed the shinigamis approaching the old man.
Suddenly Hiroshi's eyes ent large.
"What ?! I didn't sense their reiatsu ... Are they really that strong ?" But then he calmed down and thought "No ... It's not that, its not because they are strong and can hide their reiatsu ... they are just so weak their reiatsu melt together with the environment."
"But this geezer ... this old man's really not that weak .... hmm" suddenlt a small but somewhat shrewd smile could be seen on Hiroshi's face. "Since I'm bored anyway, I'll lend this man a paw."
Hiroshi jumped next to the shinigami who had raised his sword and rubbed himself against his foot, distracting him and creating an opening for the old man.

"WHAT?" yelled others who saw a cat landing on their comrade.
The old man made a quick thurst and pushed the blade into man's chest.

"Attaaack" shouted other shinigami and leaped into the air, ready to make a killing cut.

"This is bad!" shouted the old man, taking a defencive stance.

"HMH, KNOW YOUR PLACE WEAKLINGS !" shouted Hiroshi when he saw the other shinigami jumping towards the old man. Hiroshi leaped towards the shinigami and made a flip which sent the shinigami flying in the other direction. "Disgusting, attacking children and the elderly, someone in my position just can't just let this kind of behavior slip ..." Hiroshi slowly walked next to the old man and turned around, now facing the group of shinigamis. "So, which one of you naughty children dares to try next?" said Hiroshi with a somewhat perverted female voice.

"A...talking....cat..." said the girl who was about 12 years old. "Woa...." whispered the seven years old boy.
Suddenly the old man felt to his knees. While coughing he said: " I don't have....much left. Ru...run....kids..."

"No way!" said the 14 year old boy and charged towards the group of shinigami.

"NO DON'T YOU WILL DIE ARTHUR!!!!!" shouted the eldest girl in tears.

Hiroshi used shumpo and in the blink of an eye he appeared in front of the boy who was charging towards the shinigamis.
"Haha, don't be a fool boy, u don't stand a chance, at least not yet!" said Hiroshi with a suprisingly playful and happy voice. After that a moment of silence followed.
"Old man, will you tell me the story behind this situation if I let u and the kids run for now and defeat these shinigamis here ?" asked Hiroshi with a serious note in his voice.
before the man could say anything Hiroshi turned his head towards the children and said: "Kids, take this man and run, I'll catch up."
Now he turned his head back at the shinigamis.
"Now ... where were we ?

Just when he had turned to the opposing shinigami, a series of stabs and cuts were aimed towards the cat.

Shocked boy retreated to his sisters and together they dragged the old man away.
Once again they tired to make their way through the darkness.

Hiroshi disappeared; some fur was slowly gliding in the air in the place where he was before. Hiroshi was now standing on a shinigami's shoulder.
"Dear sir, you injured me" he then happily stated and licked the man's cheek.

The man quickly jumped back while twitching.
2 others appeared around the cat with a shumpo. They both attacked.

Hiroshi also used shumpo and disappeared right before the swords reached him.
He appeared on the other side of the group, in front of a shinigami and made a kick which made the shinigami fall on some of his comrades.

Suddenly one of them cried out: "Drop dead, Fukurou!"
His katana changed into a strange looking axe witch was somewhat similar to Tomahawk.
It had 2 feathers attached to its lower tip and markings of an owl eyes on the blade.

He threw it towards the cat. Axe swinged thorugh the air with great speed.

When Hiroshi heard the man saying the name of his release he thought "WHAT, a shikai, I would've never thought that the likes of them could have a shikai.."
"Damn this is going to be embarrassing, guess I'll just have to beat this out of their memories later"
After thinking that, Hiroshi changed back into his original form.
This 182 cm, black haired man was now standing in front of the group of shinigamis naked, but much stronger and faster than he was in his cat form. He didn't have his sword either but since he's from the Shihoin family he knows a fair amount of martial arts, more than needed to beat these weaklings.
Before the axe reached Hiroshi he grabed one of the shinigamis and used him as a shield to block the flying axe. After the axe had killed the shinigami, Hiroshi threw him at the man who had released his shikai.

The man took out a bloody axe from the corpse of his comrade.
Then another man also released.
He said: Catch Yamaneko!"
His katana turned into a spear. But instead of normal spear tip, it had a fang.
Both shinigami who had released their zampakutos engaged in melee combat.
Just before they attacked one other shinigami casted:

"Bakudo no 9, Geki!"

"Kido?"
"Gooood, but too slow I'm afraid" said Hiroshi with an obviously fake sad voice and appeared in front of the shinigami and broke his arms before he could end the incantation. After that he kicked him in the stomach. The kick sent the shinigami flying and made him land on his companions spear.

Shinigami tossed the body away from his spear and started attacking.

Suddenly someone said: "That will do"

A shinigami with captain's haori appeared. He was the captain of the 4th divison in Gotei Kouketsu, Hironori Kuchiki.

He looked towards Hiroshi with shocked face. "Why....Hiroshi....why did you killed them..."

Then a shocking fackt could be seen. The men who Hiroshi had been fighting had Gotei Kouketsu symbols on their hakama.

"Hironori!"
"Did you order this ?! Is this the way of the noble Kuchiki family now? Going with 17 men against some children and an old man ?"

"What are you talking about Hiroshi?" asked Hironori with surprised face.
"Those people here recieved an assignment to kill a hollow who was seen in this area recently. I came here because of a stress call from my messenger who reported that someone non hollow had attacked the search party."

A vice captain Fumiko appeared next to Hironori with shumpo and said: "hellbuterfly reported to me the same thing. Men! Report what happened here!"

One who had released, sealed his zampakutos and then said: "Just when we were about to cut down the hollows, he appeared out of nowhere and attacked us, killing 19-th seat Yamada Masako and Wakeru Taro. Rest of the men can confirm it."

Hironori sighed and said with troubled voice: "Hiroshi Shihoin, I herby palce you under arrest untill further investigation."

"Arrest huh? Fine, but first, Hironori come escort me to get my clothes and sword."

"No....We will head back immideately" said Hironori.

"If everyone sees him naked....it might cause.....commotion...." said vice captain Fumiko who was clearly blushing."

"Tch....fiiine" replied Hironori and added: "lead the way then."

"But milady, don't u like the way I look?" asked Hiroshi as he had appeared very close to Fumiko. Before Fumiko could say anything or anyone else could react, he was back where he was before "Khm, let us not get distracted now, let us head to that roof over there". Hironori and Hiroshi shumpoed to where his clothes were. After Hiroshi had put on his clothes he turned to Hironori: "Kuchiki, those 5 ur men were after were humans, I am a captain class shinigami, I reckon hollows from humans."

"What.....are you sure?" said Hironori with suprised face and then scratched his chin while thinking.

Fumiko then said: "Perhaps we should confirm it, since it happened recently. Those hollows/humans might still be around."
